Product Information

Berry's Preferred Plated bullets begin as a swaged lead core. The swaged lead cores are tumbled in an electrically charged bath containing high-grade copper ingots. The copper clings to the lead and the longer the bullets remain in the bath, the thicker the plating.  The bullets are plated to the correct size and then taken out of the bath. Plated bullets are not as expensive as jacketed bullets.  They are cleaner than lead but you'll want to stay away from magnum velocities when loading plated bullets.  This is not loaded ammunition.

 30-30 reduced loads

Been loading these in front of a reduced Buffalo Rifle powder load for my 30-30s. It’s a great economical and light plinking round.

These run great in my Steyr modelo 1912/61 conversion. I use a lighter load to stay on par with the original 7mm. They also perform well in my G11 and K11 Swiss rifles.

Perfect 30-30 target bullets

Weights and diameter are consistent and on spec. These are TMJ so the coating is thin which means watch your velocity. The flat nose makes them perfect for a tube fed 30-30. The price, consistency, and cleanliness makes them my go to bullet for plinking with the Winchester 94.

good for either 30-30 or 30-06

i have been using the acme 135 gn for 30-30 in a Marlin 336 and wanted another that I could also use in a tube feed and also in the M1 Garand. This fit the bill perfectly.

I loaded these in 30/06 with Red Dot for a reduced load. Using data for "the load" it is much quieter, no recoil, and just fun!

I've got an old (as in older than dirt) beat up 30-30 that's got a dark barrel but still shoots ok. I bought these as low power range plinkers, and I could not be happier! High quality, really consistent.
