This is a trim die only for the Deluxe Quick Trim Case Trimmer and Value Trim Case Trimmer, both sold separately. With the addition of either of these tools, simply install the appropriate quick trim die in your press and start trimming. No calipers, measurement or adjustment required. Simply install the appropriate quick trim die in your press and start trimming. A click adjustable stop allows trim length adjustment in . 001 of an inch increments. Allows the user to shorten case to a uniform shorter length than standard, reducing trimming frequency. Includes snap on chip catcher. Trim Die only.

LEE Quick trim is the ticket to affordable accurate trim length

I have been using an RCBS trim pro for many years but each time you use it with a different cartridge it requires setting it up again, so I usually just use it for the same cartridge or other 30 cal variations. Also if you wish to trim and chamfer the brass neck at the same time you have to purchase the various size individual 3-way trim/chamfer heads that RCBS sells, which gets expensive fast ( the 3-way cutting heads cost 4x what a LEE trim die costs) so you usually just end up hand chamfering the neck of the brass. With the LEE quick trim the cutter/chamfer part of the tool stays the same and only the die changes, which is the affordable portion. This is the fourth LEE quick trim die in a different caliber that I have added to my set up. I have been pleased with the results from each die I have purchased.
