Very Inconsistant

I bought this based on the review by Tim M. I find it hard to believe what he got was that much different than what I got. The bag I have had shot sizes all over the place. Some of this shot was number 5, but it also has 4 1/2, 5 1/2, 6, 6 1/2, 7, and I also found one piece that was 7 1/2. It will work for turkeys inside 25 to 30 yards, but it looks like I'll have to pay over five bucks a pound to get some consistent number 5 shot that I am comfortable taking 40 and maybe slightly more yards with. The Eagle brand copper plated shot was very consistent in size. This is not.
Best there is for birds

I have been using nickel plated shot for many years, nothing penetrates as well or kills as cleanly. I have just started using the Eagle brand in the last couple of years, the quality is great and the price is really great. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to bag more birds (and have few if any “got-away” crippled birds).
