Very Good Mold for Brown Bess

Lyman molds have served me extremely well over the course of nearly 50 years as a muzzleloader who casts round balls, Minies & bullets. This mold performed very well after a cleaning with carb cleaner to remove the packing oils. I preheated the mold on top of my pot, then set about casting .735 RB for my Pedersoli Brown Bess. After a couple of casts, the mold was quickly up to temperature, and as long as I stayed in my rhythm, the bullets were within tolerances as to weight and diameter. Highly recommend this and all Lyman molds. Great service from Grafs!
