Lyman improved sizing dies now have 90° hole spacing for easier bullet lubrication, even with today's hard lubricants. Lyman sizing dies also feature a tapered mouth and hardened interior insuring alignment for perfect cylindrical shape. Lyman 338 lube sizer die

The plunger in this one was a much looser fit than others and is flat on top leaving a mess after every bullet but may be partially to the lee bullet. 1st time sizing lee cast bullets and first time with this die. However it is an issue I have not seen with my 358, 429, 357, 311, 401, 355, or 308 dies that by the way all have a snug fit creating some resistance and taper up frome the center so they seem to seal off on the bullet better. Still works just turned an easy task into a science. How far the bullet is in the die and how hard you crank the lube matters on this combination
