Product Information

Redding dies are made of the finest alloy steels obtainable and machined on Hardinge Super- Precision lathes capable of holding the tightest tolerances in the industry.    To maintain tolerances and guarantee that your dies will last a lifetime, all Redding dies are heat treated in atmospherically controlled furnaces.  Finally, your dies are hand polished for smooth, flawless functioning, go through final inspection, and are ultrasonically cleaned and packaged.  The die box is a handy cartridge loading block and storage package. Inside is a spare decapping pin, hex wrench, and even a place for your shellholder (sold separately).  All Redding dies use the industry standard 7/8-14 threaded bodies.  Die sets for straight wall cases contain three dies:  a full length resizing die, an expander die with neck expanding plug, and seating die with built in crimp ring and the proper seating plug.  Die sets for bottleneck cases contain two dies:  a full length resizing die and seating die with built in crimp ring.

Redding Dies

I've tried all manufacturers of reloading dies. Redding seems to me to be more of a "machine tool" quality.
Just better made and tighter tolerances. Good quality.

Redding 300 H&H Nag FL 2-Die set

Top of the line Quality. Only objection is that I'd prefer the bushing rather than the expander style- but it isn't available in the 300 H&H - so this is the best available in 300 H&H

Quality remains long after price is forgotten

Use of a different maker die failed to fully resize the neck portion of brass used at a stout but clearly safe load...the Redding is claimed to be cut at SAMMI minimum...one pass and my brass is back to minimum...though expensive the Redding set is stil cheaper than one box of factory 300 H&H...the cost of preventing problems then seems reasonable and the quality of Redding products is equalled and often surpassed by Graf and Sons...both should be go-to brands
