Product Information

Unlike conventional FMJ bullets that leave lead exposed at the base, Speer® TMJ® uses Uni-Cor® technology to completely encase the lead core in a seamless jacket. It’s cleaner, more accurate and more consistent than any FMJ.

  • Uni-Cor technology completely encases the lead core in a seamless jacket
  • Design eliminates the accuracy-robbing features of conventional full metal jacket bullets
  • Reduces fouling and airborne lead
  • Consistent bullet diameters and a uniform heel

This is not loaded ammunition.

Tried in 350Legend

By George C. on Jun 05, 2020
350 Legend is basically a 9mm shoved into a .223 case. These make for a great range load for those. Mine is a pistol build AR with an Eotech and magnifier on it, but I still manage 4/5 clay pigeons out to about 200yds with these bullets and Lil'Gun powder.

Great bullet for my 1911 Range Officer

By Dan G. on Aug 07, 2019
The Speer 147 TMJ works great in my Springfield range Officer. Some geometries can be very accurate, but not so much for reliability. 1911s can be finicky with some nose profiles. This is a good all round bullet. I like the 147gr weight because it runs well in my gun at min power factors for the practical pistol competitions. My "go to" for IDPA It prints a little tighter at 20yds and beyond than rounds nose heads.
Also works great in my strikers, and CZs.
