Product Information

Sierra MatchKing® bullets have set the standards worldwide for consistent accuracy in handguns as well as rifles. Since the introduction of the high performance Remington XP-100 and similar handguns chambering larger rifle cartridges, all 30 caliber MatchKings® have been used in handgun silhouettes and long-range target competitions. Sierra's famous MatchKing® design assures superb accuracy, flat trajectory, and high momentum delivery with low sensitivity to crosswinds at all ranges.

While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications.  Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts.

The 308 168 HPBT MK bullets have been one of my go to bullets for both my M1A match rifle and my model 70 match rifle for years. They may cost a bit more than some others but if you want consistent accuracy you can't go wrong with these.

if there's one bullet that you need to hit your target...this would be the one.
I coat these in molybendium disulfide and it gives me about 200 fps more for the same amount of powder.

if I had to shoot a target that was a no miss situation, this would be my boolet.

This bullet was developed for 300 m international match shooting. For a long time it was the standard by which match bullets were judged. To this day it is a superb bullet for shooting out to 600 yds. And, can be used out to 1,000 yds with good scores. I would recommend it to any one especially Garand and M1A shooters.

These are great bullets for target shooting. I have killed deer with them but did not like the penetration. I have shot them out to 1,000 yds pretty accurately. Give them a try.
