Starline Quality Again

Wanted to do a favorite load with new rather than used brass. Took 10 pieces out of the bag, inspected and measured for length and body diameter. All nice and close. Did a quick ream and champher on the case mouth's. Loaded up the whole bag, no problems.
Happy with the results after going to the range.

Great brass. Ready to expand and load out of the box. I use it in half a dozen different calibres. Consistency all around is excellent. For hunting calibres I get the nickel plated to keep it separate from practice rounds. Happy shooting!

Starline is one of the most consistent pistol brasses I’ve used, and the 380 is no different. Only complaint is the brass gods finally punished me usually get 100 or up to 103 pieces in bag this time 99 pieces in bag oh well bound to happen sometime.

Case lengths are uniform, primers seat snugly but easily -- every chambering I have tried from Starline has been outstanding. These attributes are really important in a tiny case like the .380. Glad to see this US-made brand is in the game.

Starline brass in my experience is the most consistent product across the board. I load everything from .380 to .45 Colt including the 5 in 1 blank cases for old west shows. The trim length out of the bag is excellent and the cases hold up to being reloaded many times of course depending on what you’re loading and your pressures. Now that their rifle calibers are readily available Starline is my go to brand for everything.
