The Burris signature rings do not need to be axially trued after mounting on the rifle because the polymer ring inserts act like gimbals to take up any misalignment. The rings also provide reliable clamping pressure without deforming or abrading the finish of the scope.

If the scope mounting requires an inordinate amount of correction to zero, you can get accessory polymer ring inserts that are eccentric and will allow up to 20 MOA correction. These eccentric rings also allow up to 20 MOA super elevation in the scope mounting for long range shooting.

Note that the illustration is not quite correct; the 30 mm Burris Signature rings have two screws on each side of the ring.
