Excellent on Varmints

Good BC and very accurate from a .222 or .223. A little long, so you will need a 1 in 12 twist or better to stabilize. Not a lot of offerings in this weight range. Better hunting bullet than the now discontinued 52 grain A-Max.

I'm part of old man shooting club, once a week weather permitting we shoot at 120 yards. Load xx.x grains of AA 2520. Have 3 hits on penny w/o hitting edge of penny. My last order was 1900 rounds.
Would highly recommend

I have used the .224 53 Hornady VMax bullets against small rodents from a 9 twist .22-.250 up to 400 yards with IMR 8208 and get just under 3,700 fps with better than 1 moa accuracy and great effects. A good companion bullet for .224, 9 twist rifles, with 68-70 grain bullets like the 68 Hornady BTSP, 69 Barnes Match Burner, & 70 Berger VLD.

These shoot extremely accurate from my 12 twist Savage 22-250. Easily achieves 1/4 MOA at 100 yards, when I do my part. I haven't used on game yet, but there is a ton of reviews out there that say they are fantastic hunting bullets. Great price, too.

I have been shooting these bullets out of a Colt H-bar 1-9 twist with a 24 in barrel. Excellent groups with CFE223 powder. Great for prairie dogs out to 300 yards.

I bought this bullet to shoot a 300 yard match. If I do my part this bullet is great. why shoot it in a match? A friend told me to give it a try. He was right. Shooting a 223 with a 24 inch barrel with a 1 in 9 twist.
