 PPU 196gr bullets

Some really great bullets that are very accurate in my sporterized M98 rifle. Great for everything I hunt.

Awesome Bullet for Czech Mauser

I have used these in my VZ-24 Mauser.They shoot right to the iron sights at all distances.I have hit gongs at 1200 yards with these bullets over IMR-4350.The price is right too!

Great Bullets

I purchased these for reloading in my La Carona 43 pattern short Mauser. I wanted to replicate a hot little 70’s era 8x57js Norma Elite factory load that featured a 197.5g sp bullet.
A little IMR 4350 and these bullets, I cannot tell the difference in the Norma rounds and my reloads! At 2600’/s or so, they are Excellent for paper punching or larger horned game! Excellent price and product.

Good for surplus/hunting

Good performer in two German mausers.one did better than the other with relatively low charges. The tips were a little distorted,so serious target shooting wouldn’t be a first choice for these. Informal target/plinking is where they shine. Good price too.

PPU Comparison

I use these PPU bullets and PPU cases with a charge of Varget and get better accuracy than the PPU factory ammo.

Great bullet for 8x57 mauser

I have used these in two rifles, a M48a and a 24/47. I load them in the 2500 fps range and they perform just as you would expect. Never under estimate the 8x57 with a heavy bullet.
