Great but few things needed

By Grant P. on Apr 04, 2026
I like the idea of a press being mostly pre set for what caliber you’re wanting to load and of course Dillon has a reputation for being great.
However take note that just looking at pictures say on their website and their own “what’s needed and what’s recommended” can lead to missing a couple things you may want.

I took it as the strong mount was with it even reading what came with it and not putting two and two together as it didn’t mention it as an add on on their own site. And of course shows it in the picture.
Also this does not come with the wrench needed for adjustments…..so you’ll need to purchase this separate. Either as their “set” which comes also with Allen wrenches which I don’t need or search for just the bench wrench itself and get it as this is what you need to adjust the stuff.
So now I have the press sitting here but have to order the strong mount (I don’t want it mounted directly to the bench and it’s sturdier) and have to order the wrench before I can go through the set up process as I may need to adjust something yet no wrench?

Gave 4 instead of 5 just because the wrench really should go with it…it’s needed and for the cost just the wrench should be thrown in there and if someone wants the fancier tool holder they can purchase that separate. Now this site is a 5/5 as it was supper fast process and shipping time.
