HORNADY 30c (.308) 220gr RN BULLET RoundNose 100/BX
Hornady's traditional line of bullets feature exposed lead tips for controlled expansion and hard-hitting terminal performance. Most have their pioneering secant ogive design — one of the most ballistically efficient profiles ever developed. Most feature Hornady's exclusive InterLock® design — a raised ring inside the jacket that is embedded in the bullet's core that keeps the core and jacket locked together during expansion to retain mass and energy.
- INNER GROOVES: Strategically weaken the upper section of the jacket, ensuring consistent, controlled expansion, even at long range.
- TAPERED JACKET: Jacket thickness is precisely controlled for expansion at all velocities.
- ONE-PIECE CORE: Does not separate like two-piece divided cores. The InterLock® retains more mass and energy for deep penetration and large, consistent wound channels that ensure quick, clean kills.
- CANNELURE: Provides accurate and consistent crimping and also works with InterLock® ring to ensure the core and jacket remain locked during expansion.
- INTERLOCK® RING: The raised InterLock® ring is embedded in the bullet's core, ensuring the core and jacket are locked in one piece during expansion to retain mass and energy.

I'm using it in my 1898 Krag for our GAF shoots. Both the rifle and carbine shoot them well, haven't shot past 300 yds. yet but good so far.

Great hunting bullet for subsonic and supersonic. And finally found it in stock at Grafs, a company that delivers!

I picked up an 1895 30/40 Krag late last year and have been wanting to load up some ammo to match what was originally specked for this rifle back then. I loaded up 50 rounds with a couple of different powders just so I can test their performance. I know this rifle very well as it came from an old family friend. After it served our country from 1895-1901 it was placed in storage until the 1920's. It was fitted with a "sportsman's stock" and sold in stores for $10-$20. My friends Grandfather purchased it and used it for deer hunts with his buddies. Once he passed it got placed in a closet and there it has sat since the late 40's. So after giving it a thorough once over, bore check and a good oil up I'm ready to take her out for a day at the range.
Thank you Graf's for helping me keep this rifle alive.

I have bin shooting for over 50yrs and reloading for over 30yrs, at a 100yrds shooting off a bench I was able twice in my life to shoot a one hole three shot group out of my hand loaded 30-06 and these Hornady 220grn bullets and IMR-4350 were one of the loads that accomplished this, here is a plug for GRAF & SONS, they were the only ones to have these bullets in stock out of 6 months of searching for them, great company and the first I turn to for my shooting pleasure, Ron S.

Among fellow Krag shooters these are the preferred .308 - 220g round nose bullets. Graf's is the only place I have found them in stock.
Works well for 30-40 and 30-03 loading.

I use this bullet in my Winchester 1895, 30-40 to duplicate original vintage loads. It also works well in my Winchester 1895, 30-03 to duplicate the original cartridge. Deer and Elk drop with one shot if I do my part. Carries lots of energy when launched 2100fps to 2400fps.

I have noticed when ordering bullets from other companies some items appear to be very old stock. Grafs reloading products are always current production. The 220 gr Hornady RN is killer at subsonic speeds. Great product!

All in all a good bullet. Only negative was that there was 1 bullet that slipped by QC. It was a reject.
