Hornady neck turning mandrel .35 caliber

I received this from Graf and sons a few days ago and it is ground to precision. I'm making 350 rem mag cases from 300 win mag cases with split necks. I cut the cases off at the shoulder after annealing them. Then I sized them with the 350 rem mag die, and trim to length. Of course the necks are too thick, so I set up my new Hornady neck turning tool with the 35 cal mandrel according to instructions. The sized necks fit perfectly on this mandrel, so the trimming down to .0145" went quite easily. So I also checked the clearance between the mandrel and the cutter with a feeler gauge. The .014" slid through with no effort, but the .015" wouldn't fit. Now that's precision! Of course I measured the neck walls to .0145" as I was making the first cuts.
