Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

PPU 7mm rem brass

By Randy H. on Feb 15, 2024
This is the 2nd caliber of their brass I have ordered. Brass arrived packaged well. The quantity was correct. Upon inspection, one case had a dented neck and a trip thru the sizer die took care of that. After sizing all cases, case length was +/- .002 from nominal. I did not trim. I am interested in a hunting cartridge not a competitive one. I did find after sizing , two cases that were .003/.004 under min length. These will be loaded and used for cold shots. My only negative is the excessive flash hole burring. It can be fixed, but just a lot of extra prep. Perhaps PRVI should look at their sharpening/replacing sequences on their punches and inserts. Enough negativity, as always Grafs turned this order over very quickly and I had it the same, Thank you!!

PPU brass has preformed great in every caliber I’ve used it in. The 7 mag brass is no different. It just works.

7mm Remington Magnum PVRI Brass

By Jerry T. on Jan 25, 2024
In the world we live in today components are difficult to find. Graf's has PVRI brass and the price was right. I have used the PVRI brass in several other calibers and I just purchased a new Weatherby Vanguard Sporter and I always load my own ammunition, so I was looking for brass to go with the new rifle and the PVRI was all I could find. I didn't mind the brand because I was familiar with it and have used it in the past. I ordered and received 200 rounds of brass and I have loaded it, but I haven't fired any yet. It was all easy enough to load and it made fine looking ammunition and cycled through the bolt action gun very well.

I have loaded lots of PPU brass over the years and have not had any problems with it. I would recommend neck sizing and checking the over all length before loading. As always Grafs ships fast.

Brass is good. Grafs does a great job at good prices.

PRVI 7mm Rem Mag brass

By Bert S. on Sep 12, 2023
I have had trouble finding new unprimed 7mm Rem Mag brass. Graf had this stuff in stock. I have used it in the past in .30-06 and had very good results. Looking forward to loading this brass with Hornady Interbond 154 gr bullets I also ordered from Graf. Deer at the other end of a giant bean field in the Mississippi Delta should be in real trouble.

brass is always in good, new condition and cheaper than some once fired!

match grade

By William S. on Jun 16, 2023
I am VERY picky about brass! Believe it or not, I have had match-grade results from this PPU brass. I have shot same-hole or near same-hole groupings with the Berger 140 and the SST at 100 yards

Great brass as usual from PRVI. I have loaded lots of it over the years.

Excellent brass

By Ivan G. on Dec 15, 2022
I've loaded quite a few rounds in the 7 mm Remington and others and have never experienced a problem. I prefer Lapua, Norma. and Peterson, but Privi will do nicely every time.

PPU 7mm REM mag brass

By Jay G. on Feb 01, 2021
Being glad to find any brass in these times was difficult and I was happy to find these. This brass needs sized and trimmed before loading. I found the flash holes had heavy burrs and needed cleaned out. There is wide variance in weight of the brass, which leads to more than 2 grain difference in h2o capacity. These cases hold 78 grains water on average compared to 83 to 84 in cases from ww, fc, rp and hornady. Once all the brass prep and sorting is done they are fine cases for loading

Great brass!! Primed without incident and perfectly full case sizing! Easily reprimed and sized after firing!

Heavier than Winchester Brass

By Phil S. on Dec 01, 2020
This was the only brass I could find in 7mm REM Mag so I gave it a try. I was surprised at how much heavier they were versus the Winchester brass I already had. The PRVI brass weighed an average of 264 grains compared to 228 grains for the Winchester brass though the variation was somewhat greater for the PRVI. Overall quality appears to be very good with no dents or deformed cases.

This is excellent brass it works well in the press and has been tempered much like Lapua brass I think it is better than a lot of brass out there.

PRVI 7MM Mag Brass

By Michael H. on Jan 19, 2020
I gave it 4 stars due to there being a couple of dented cases in the bag of 50. The case necks show them being annealed. The cases loaded fine and also looked good after being fired once.
