Best 45 Colt Heavyweight Thumper!!

By SGT. ZACHARIAH B. on Nov 19, 2018
These are the best loads on the market for the price for large dangerous game protection and hunting. Double Tap loads these to the proper pressure and velocity. Push any heavyweight for caliber hardcast with a wide meplat between 1100-1400 fps and you have an extremely deep penetrating round. The only reason to load these loads to a higher velocity would be to flatten trajectory for longer range, but let's be honest the trill of handgun hunting is to get as close as possible and make the best shot you possibly can for a quick kill. Don't let the none expansion of the heavyweight hardcast fool you with that wide meplat, the wound channel is almost double the diameter of the actual bullet diameter. I've used this load in Alaska along with others like Buffalo Bore, Grizzly Cartridge, and UnderWood, they are loaded hotter which provide more power, but the downside is more recoil as well!! Shot placement is key so choose whichever brand you and your particular firearm shoots best... Thank you for supporting America and it's Armed Forces!!
