LIGHTNING 9MM(.356) 147gr FP CAST BULLET 100/bx

I use these to load subsonic rounds and they're terrific for that purpose. I've loaded Lighting bullets in multiple calibers with very good results. Great product.

I load these for plinking with my PCC. For the price these can't be beat!

When I purchased these bullets, they were on sale. As a shooter and handloader, I'm always looking for ways to save money, so this purchase made good sense. The thing is, if your bargain bullets don't perform properly, you've squandered money instead of saving money. In my opinion, you can spend more on 147 grain bullets, but you can't do better than Lightning!
Starting at X.X grains, I loaded up 3 sets of 15 rounds, each set graduated by 0.20 grains of AA #5. After settling on a promising combination, I made 200 rounds which were tested in a P85, a P95 (both Rugers) and a CZ 75. There wasn't a hiccup in the bunch. Accuracy was very good for offhand shooting, but the P95 shot like a new target gun!
I highly recommend these to careful, frugal handloader who don't mind getting an accurate load along with their bargain bullets!
