Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

Looks like good brass

Got exactly what I hoped for.....out of 200, over half were one headstamp, and most of the rest were another. Now I just need some free time.

Lightning fired brass 7.62x39

By Carl K. on Sep 09, 2022
The brass was clean and in good shape. However, out of the fifty pieces six were berdan primed. I would purchase again.

Great product

Great price and great product. I checked each one and got zero berdan primers. All the brass was usable and clean.

Checked each piece NO Berdan primers! Very clean and ready for lubing, depriming and sizing. I would highly recommend this brass for others that reload! "Dinged" case mouths are minor and most likely reflect the type of weapon they were fired from, not shipping damage. GOOD Brass.

Very Clean

Mixed headstamps. Mostly Fiocchi which is good. However the Fiocchi has very tight primer pockets. I crushed 2 new primers before I learned to separate Fiocchi from the rest and then reamed the primer pockets first.

Nice brass, but beware

Good brass as long as you understand a few things. I bought 300 pieces of this. There were 23 berdan primed cases, 2, 6.8 spc cases and 3 .300 blackout cases in there as well. Be prepared to inspect each case, one berdan case on the press, and oops there goes another depriming pin! Some of the brass also has a military crimp so repriming is a pia, if you don't ream the primer pockets first. Most of the "good brass" is ppu, Winchester, fiocchi, cbc, and Remington. Beware when using this, you will break primer pins if you don't check the brass!
