Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

 Poor quality workmanship

In a can of 1000 brass casings I had to deal with about 50 that were not even de-primed or military brass with primer pocket that is not reamed. Also consistently the primer pocket is dirty. You have to hand sort the brass so it does not get stuck in priming. I learned that the hard way. When I pay 4 times as much for clean de-primed, reamed brass I expect perfection. My advice, stay away from this brass. You will be much better off with range brass that you process yourself.
