It goes bang, reliably

By David B. on Dec 04, 2021
I'd love to know the story behind this and other US-made ball ammo currently on the market. This and "WWB" (Winchester White Box) have similar headstamps -- often "LC" (Lake City?), but with the civilian cartridge designation (.223 Rem). My guess is that it's made using up excess capacity on military contracts. Anyway, it chambers and fires just fine in my AR rifles, does not leave behind tons of soot, and is plenty accurate enough for practice. After swaging out the primer crimp, cases are perfectly reloadable.
