Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

As good As Lapua

By John N. on Aug 21, 2020
This brass is outstanding just like the other reviews had. Very good annealing, comes packed in a damage free case which Lapua has been really cutting cost where the foam that came in their boxes to keep Brass from moving during shipping has been removed and no longer packed in their brass! I have other Peterson Brass and the quality is there. This 6 BR brass shoots as good as Lapua also. Pleased as Expected!

American Made

This is the brass I use to form 30 br. It actually forms easier than the Lpula brass and has less of a doughnut . Turning the necks seems to be more consistent also. Would recommend this brass. Go USA.

Incredibly consistent

Formed from 6br to 6BRA

Primer pockets are very reliable after multiple firings

Peterson Brass

By David S. on May 16, 2020
I went from Lapua to Peterson Brass and it is more consistent with weight, and I won't go back. I will buy Peterson in every cal that I shoot If they have, I wish that they made it in 300 Win Mag.
Thanks Peterson

6br brass

By Donald B. on Mar 04, 2020
best brass on the market, some lapua brass had 64 percent cull rate. if this brass was available when 6br first came about, ppc would be just a rumor. love the idea of the box. easier shipping great benefit for the shooter. will buy more, thanks for a great product, don

Near perfect brass

By Jerry G. on Jan 05, 2020
I ordinarily use Lapua for my 6BR Benchrest gun. I decided to try some Peterson even though I've had excellent results with Lapua. I always cull outliers in weight or neck thickness and Lapua is very good at an average of 85-90% useable and the rest foulers. Astonishingly 100% of the Peterson was sorted into sets of 5 with each group less than a 10th of a grain variance from low to high in weight. No neck thickness culls. First firing produced groups that were .2's and 3's when fireforming. I expect fireformed brass will be even better. Great value.

More consistent than Lapua and zero neck dings

By Thaine C. on Oct 14, 2019
I know the body of the item description for this brass states that dinged necks are possible but that is just incorrect and needs to be removed. This brass ships in a case individually packed and covered with foam so there is no way brass can move or get dinged. They'll get around to fixing it. The quality of the brass is amazing and the consistency is why I'm switching from Lapua to Peterson. The only prep I do is a slight chamfer/debur on the necks and I'm good to go.

I recommend a using a 6mm mandrel vs sizing the necks with your expander in the resizing die. A mandrel will improve your loads and eliminate a source of runout.
