Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

Product Information

This is a Bulk package of Peterson Cartridge casings, they will not come in one of their plastic ammo boxes.

Made in the U.S.A.

Peterson Cartridge Co is committed to producing Match-Grade Brass that enables our customers to get more reloads per casing than industry average.

NOTE: If you plan to load above SAAMI max pressure and are concerned about primer-pocket leak, Peterson recommends you try their 6.5 Creedmoor Small Rifle Primer (Which is not this item, but can be found here: Small Primer). While they do not suggest loading over SAAMI max pressures, Peterson's small primer pocket 6.5 Creedmoor have proven to hold up over SAAMI max pressures when tested in their universal receiver.

Warning: Only use Peterson Cartridge Co. casings in firearms in good condition, designed, marked, and chambered for this cartridge. Do not use Peterson Cartridge Co casings for “fire forming” or any other purpose other than what they were designed and tested for. Peterson retains no responsibility for the enclosed casings if they are used outside of the manufacturer’s recommendations.

This is not loaded ammunition.

6.5 Creedmoor brass

By J. R. F. on Oct 02, 2023
I’ve been very pleased with Peterson brass overall. The current lot of 500 cases, however, has small necks — brass neck OD equals bullet OD. Will test to see how much stress the neck will allow and what happens with pressures.

Astounding quality

By Dave S. on Dec 15, 2020
I've been rolling my own ammo since the early 70's, and, like you, I've paid for a lot of commercial quality brass, that is definitely so-so in quality. This is NOT that brass! It's heavy, consistent, and clean. The bag I received was ready to load right out of the bag. No bent necks, no trimming, nice polish. I will be buying this again.

Great brass

This brass is some of the best and cheaper than the competitors. Weight was very consistent and primer pockets are tight.
