FRANKFORD UNIVERSAL BULLET SEATING DIE

Overall it the die is very accurate once correctly set up. I use it to seat Berger VLD bullets in .30 caliber and found that bullet runout variance was very minimal. I did not care to use the sleeve opening to add the bullet before seating and reverted back to the old fashion method of placing the bullet on top of the case before raising ram and seating the bullet. The bullet passes through the sleeve with no problems noted. Old habits die hard, and I did find myself spinning the case 180 degrees each time to minimize bullet runout, but it's really not needed. The micrometer is very accurate and is a real aid when setting bullet depth to a precise measurement off of the bullet ogive. I am very happy with the quality and function of the die.
