All Weatherby ammo is high quality, but what makes this load so good is the Swift Scirocco bullet. It’s only 100 grains which may seem light for a .25 caliber rifle round. However, Scirocco bullets are long so they fly like a heavier bullet. Since they’re bonded and strongly constructed, expect complete pass-through on deer, even if you hit bone. At the speed that the .257 Weatherby fires these bullets, this is a wise choice.
