Product Information

Redding dies are made of the finest alloy steels obtainable and machined on Hardinge Super- Precision lathes capable of holding the tightest tolerances in the industry.    To maintain tolerances and guarantee that your dies will last a lifetime, all Redding dies are heat treated in atmospherically controlled furnaces.  Finally, your dies are hand polished for smooth, flawless functioning, go through final inspection, and are ultrasonically cleaned and packaged.  The die box is a handy cartridge loading block and storage package. Inside is a spare decapping pin, hex wrench, and even a place for your shellholder (sold separately).  All Redding dies use the industry standard 7/8-14 threaded bodies.  Die sets for straight wall cases contain three dies:  a full length resizing die, an expander die with neck expanding plug, and seating die with built in crimp ring and the proper seating plug.  Die sets for bottleneck cases contain two dies:  a full length resizing die and seating die with built in crimp ring.

Very high quality. Don’t forget to clean them before first use. Would buy again.

Best dies ever

Redding has got to make the best dies every. Very consistent and affordable. I have used every die under the sun and even had custom dies made for some of my long range bolt guns but I will only buy Redding from here on out.

Typical excellent Redding quality in 6.5 Grendel

By Ashley R. on Mar 04, 2018
As you load/reload ammo over time, you learn the differences between usable and quality tools. I started loading on Lee dies over 25 years ago. As I could afford it I upgraded to RCBS as they were better quality then the Lee. Then about 15 years ago I was not able to get RCBS dies in a need cartridge, they were available in Redding at about twice the cost. So I ordered and tried the redding dies. The quality of those dies and the ammo they produced sold me on Reddings quality. Yes Redding dies are more money, but as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. I have since replaced all my dies with Redding in those calibers that are available, in reasonable cost.
