Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

 quality brass

great brass. my only complaint is that i found one with a pinched neck but i kinda look out for those in 243 because they are necked down so far. flash holes were great. pockets felt great and the oal were all the same and in spec.

Nice 243 Winchester Brass

The bulk Hornady 243 Winchester brass I received was clean and uniform in both body size and overall length. Bolt closure was a bit heavy before sizing, so it was necessary to size the brass for that particular rifle. But sizing new brass is standard practice if you want uniform necks anyway. I would definitely consider buying Hornady brass again.

The brass has always performed well for me. The best value is the bulk package of 100 pieces. Much better price per piece than the boxed 50 count brass by Hornady.

I really like this brass, it requires nothing out of the package other than prime & load. And when fired the brass holds up extremely well and couple hundred will last the life of the barrel. What more could you ask for??

I like Hornady brass, for the cost plus quality it's one if the best .
I ordered 200 ea. I always do the flash holes on new brass,I doubt any really needed it. All were in great shape and each bag had one extra.
