Developed through a combination of bullet manufacturing techniques that are unique to Nosler, the design of the AccuBond®-LR allows for the highest B.C. possible in a bullet of the same caliber and weight. Designed with an optimum performance window ranging from 3,200fps to 1,300 fps, the unique tapered jacket geometry and proprietary bonding process of the AccuBond®-LR allow it to expand rapidly for effective energy transfer and significant tissue damage while retaining sufficient weight to ensure deep penetration into the vitals. The AccuBond® bonding process allows the AccuBond®-LR to perform reliably on game throughout the entire velocity range, eliminating the problem of being “too close” often encountered with other high-B.C. bullets. The high-performance boat-tail, long ogive, and polymer tip combine to make the AccuBond®-LR the sleekest, flattest- shooting, bonded, hunting bullet ever created. The ogive of the AccuBond®-LR is designed to provide excellent accuracy in a wide variety of firearms without the necessity of being loaded close to or in contact with the lands.

Nosler 150g Accubond
By RODGER P. on Dec 22, 2023I am currently loading these 150g LR Accubonds for my 280 Ackley and I don't believe there is a better combination of downrange performace and efficiency.
Nosler AccuBond LR .284 150 Grain
By Michael B. on Aug 10, 2018Let me compare that to a recent shipment from another online retailer who shipped Sierra Match HPBT bullets thrown in the box with nothing separating them from crashing into the other box. They put a bunch of paper balled up on each end of the box. When the package was received their was a small area of compression in the corner of the shipping box. When the box was opened both of the bullet boxes were split open and the plastic bag inside was split open. The bullets were destroyed. They were bent on the tips and scratched along the sides. The retailer had to pay for return shipping and send out new bullets. This same internet retailer refuses to improve their packaging system. The new shipment had the same minimal packaging and one of the bullet boxes was split open again.

The AccuBond LR bullets are a disappointment. Bullet weights variance of 200 rounds looks like this.

The bullets have a rough edge at the boat tail that is scratching the surface of the bullets. Every bullet is scratched. I have not shot the bullets yet. I have to assume the jagged edge on the boat tail will impact long range accuracy.
I would not buy this product again.
