Some rifles love it, some not so much, you NEED to try it.
By Rich S.
on Apr 27, 2020
I did extensive testing at 100y with 3 very accurate rifles capable of sub moa. Two of the rifles were not impressed, groups were better than with the cheaper ammo, but not enough to make me happy. The third rifle loves it, 100y groups consistently averaging under 1.25moa in light wind. It shoots this ammo better than some of the more expensive "Match" ammo. For the price, it is now my go-to ammo for that rifle only, the others need to be fed the more expensive ammo. If the other two rifles liked this also, it would be 5 stars. My recommendation is try it, your rifle might just love it also.

As Good or Better than SK+ in my 10/22
By Greg T.
on Feb 28, 2020
I know some folks say that the SK+ is better but honestly I don't see the difference. Truth be told I think the Magazine shoots "better" in my 10/22. At 25 yards I can slit playing cards at will.
Buy with confidence at Graf & Sons... great price and if you have any problems, they will fix them without hassle. (Thanks Darla)
SK magazine .22 LR

Reasonably priced quality bulk ammo. Zero malfunctions in 2000 rounds. Absolutely consistent performance. OAL is short enough to work well in my older Pardini SP. I switched to this after a problematic case of CCI SV. It is a little more expensive but well worth it for no alibi sessions. Shopping it among the usual suspects helps even out the cost. I don't wipe the lube off, no problems or build up so far.
Amazing Quality, Quick shipping at a Great Price!!

Started buying SK Magazine in the cans a couple years ago and now it’s pretty much all I shoot. It’s very accurate as my 11 year old daughter hits a 2” spinning target at 100 yds with ease out of a Ruger 10/22 with a trigger job and decent scope. It’s kinda oily but doesn’t affect anything. Thanks Grafs for the great price and quick shipping. At this price makes it easy to order multiple cans.

Sk standard is great stuff, bought sk magazine because of the price, didn't know what to expect. This stuff is great. A little greasy but so what. Carry an old rag to wipe your hands. Shoots wonderful. Buying more.
One of my favorites

I've been shooting SK ammo for years. Standard plus has performed well in every rifle I have tried it in. In many cases it out shoots loads costing over twice as much. Try some you will not regret it.

Prior to trying Magazine, I have used SK Standard Plus and know how well it shoots. It's accurate and consistent. I know now that Magazine is the same ammo, only it's bulk packaged. I was expecting Magazine to be "seconds" and that's just not so. Condition of each round appears to be flawless. I'm very pleased that I can now buy my favorite ammo at a bargain price.

it shoots pretty tight groups on my Kimber 92..it is almost as good as SK plus..now it may not work as good on other rifles but we all know that all .22 rifles are not the same and require time and testing using different brands until we find the one the rifle "likes" the best..I highly recommend this ammo.

I used them in my CZ 452 and 457 and they shot a real good group at 40 yds. I think the more oil on them could make them shoot better.
SK Magazine best compromise of price & performance
By Frederick J.
on Aug 19, 2019
A couple of my target 22s, BSA Martini & Anschutz 54, really like this ammo. Good compromise on price and performance. Few flyers if any. Yes, they’re greasy, but I toss them in a towel and bulk-wipe them. Recommended.

I have been looking for a clean inexpensive 22 LR round for my S&W 617 revolvers . Most 22 LR ammo leaves unburnt powder behind the extractor making closing the cylinder impossible until it is cleaned off . This ammo is very clean shooting and will be my go to ammo for my rimfire revolvers.
Best score ever!

Finally got to shoot SK Magazine the last few days. Bore sighted my Remington 40X and my Savage-Anschütz and then fine tuned them on the range. The next day I shot my best rimfire score ever 3585/5000 for first place in target division (with 40X). All 50 shots scored and I had 25 bullseyes. I'm buying some more!
Excellent target ammo

My CZ really likes this "SK Magazine" ammo. Phenomenal groups at 100 yards. I have tried it against more expensive SK offerings, Lapua, Eley, etc. and there is no improvement in accuracy with the more expensive ammo for me. So for target shooting, I just don't bother buying different ammo anymore. I've never had a failure to fire or feeding issue with this ammo. It has been 100% reliable, purchase after purchase.
The ammo comes in a can with lid that is most welcome - it it a good way to store and use the ammo. If you want to just throw the container in your range bag, I would recommend using electrical tape or similar to hold the lid tightly - it may come loose if the can is turned upside down when full. The ammo has an oily/waxy feel to it, which is fine, but you will not be too happy if you accidentally dump the entire can of it into the dirt - as it will adhere.
Graf's is my go to retailer to buy this ammo because of their super fast shipping and flat rate shipping charge. Ammo always arrives packaged well and protected from damage.

Greasy and lots of vertical stringing in my 10/22 compared to CCI SV bulk ammo and SK + budget premium.
Perfect for storage

on Mar 10, 2019
I bought 2500 rds of this as in the past its been very reliable in every firearm I've tried. I like the fact that it comes sealed in 500rd cans which is perfect for my long term storage plans. This ammo will be put away for future use and I don't have to worry about function down the road.

Works good in my Anschutz , about same as SK standard plus , they are good for practice , and I never got a misfire . I am going to weigh each round and see if it is worth it, to see if I can get a tighter group.
Very Good 22 LR ammo.

on Mar 01, 2019
I recently decided to try some of these. They are SK Std + so my expectations were fairly high. Other than the lube on cases issue(I wipe it off and place bullets in empty SK boxes on rainy days) I would have to say my CZ 455 rifles like them. There may be a slightly higher instance of fliers with this magazine ammo, that being said I'll buy more.
** They should be excellent for long term storage with the sealed can.
Great ammo for my CZ

Gotta love this great ammo at a reasonable price. I use this for steel banging and long distance shooting. This lot has been very consistent for me. I use SK Match for comps and this for everyday practice. Great ammo for the price.
Good silhouette ammo
By Thomas M.
on Feb 14, 2019
I regularly use this ammo for NRA Silhouette matches. It has produced many winning Saturday’s at the range for both my grandson and me. I see no difference in the magazine and SK standard other than more lube on the magazine because of bulk pack. Remember every rifle is different, mine are winners shooting SK. Hope you find the accuracy that I did.
Great for training
By David M.
on Feb 05, 2019
This ammo is oily, but great for training. The cost makes it very appealing to train with and provides results similar to match ammo. The amount of fliers you get is normal for this type of ammo. However, it will group very well. Buy with confidence for training ammo.
Accurate and highly reliable

When I am looking for consistent accuracy I shoot SK. I find the Magazine to be identical to SK Standard Plus. Great accuracy and reliable. Grafs has the best price on the internet. Shoots well n everything I own. Ruger 10/22, CZ 452, 455 and 512.

I can't tell the difference between SK Magazine and SK Standard Plus in any of my guns. Might be a little more oily but I just pour some onto a paper towel and roll it around.

We shoot friendly competition on 22 rimfire silhouette. I started shooting the SK standard plus thru my Anschutz 54 and my CZ 452 Super Match then went to the SK Magazine for the lower price. I can’t tell any difference in the accuracy and am well pleased with the performance.

Good practice ammo

on Dec 16, 2018
I'm a competitive prone sling shooter. The SK Magazine is good enough to use as a short range (75 ft) practice ammo. I have two Anschutz match rifles and the SK Magazine does well in both. Would I use it in a match? No. That's what Center-X and Midas+ is for (at two to three times the cost!). If you wanna play, you gotta pay!

Tight groups out of my H&R M12 when I weigh and
gauge. Great ammo for the price!
Little below SK+

Has a few more fliers than SK Standard plus , but decent ammo . I’ll most like go with the SK+ on my next order . The one cent more per round is worth it to me .

This is the only ammo I will shoot in my Ruger 22/45 pistols. Both cost and accuracy are excellent and the nose of the bullet feeds into the chamber every time.

SK magazine is my favorite ammo for my target shooting. Clean, accurate, a little splippery. I don't do anything with it, I just shoot. It shoots head and shoulders above any other comparably priced ammo. The shipping was great, said it would be here on Wednesday, got it on Tuesday.
same as SK standard in box

Just in a sealed cylinder can. They shoot just as well
as the Sk standard in a box 22lr.

not for cold weather use
By Marty H.
on Dec 12, 2014
Opened a fresh can and found the heavy oil people on the forums were talking about. I don't mind THAT. Unfortunately in 30 degree weather the coating Turned to paste. My Marlin 60 which works with almost anything had nothing but fail to loads, fail to ejects and many times would not cycle the bolt. This stuff should be fine with revolver or bolt action. Semi-auto, I'll try some of my stash again in the Summer. I was not impressed with the accuracy of the 70 or so rounds that I did get through the gun. It had at least as many fliers and soft loads as any of the cheapest bulk ammo.

Graff's please tape around the can or do something to keep the cans from opening and emptying in the box. These tennis ball style cans come open easily. I ordered two and one opened while in shipping.15% of those rounds were not shootable. These days good .22 rimfire is hard to get so I did not do a return. I will order more when available but please do something about the cans opening in shipping.

Midas and Center-X will group tighter, but they cost three times as much. My CZ 452 Style shoots SK Magazine to 1/2" at 50 yds, (bench rested) and that's good enough for most of my needs. I don't mind the excess oil as long as the accuracy remains. Also wishing that I'd stocked up more when it was available, and I hope that Graf gets some more in sometime soon.
By Kenneth K.
on Nov 28, 2013
Groups 7/8" @ 50 yds with my Pardini SP. No other ammo I have tried including Tenex, Midas+, and Wolf, will do nearly as well. Velocity of my lot was 872 fps (990 rifle equivalent) Eley Match Pistol will probably do as well but is over 2x the price. I have not tested Match Pistol.
True, the oil is a bit messy, but I have never had a misfeed.
SK Magazine ammo

This stuff is awesome! I've tried it in four good guns so far (Three anschutz and one 541T), and they have all grouped at their best with this. Wish I had bought more when it was available.
Accurate and reliable
By Clark W.
on Aug 20, 2013
I purchased 1000 rounds of this ammo a few months ago simply because it was the only 22lr I could find that was in stock and not insanely priced. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this stuff shoots great in every gun I've tried it in. Even my notoriously picky AMT Lightning fired every round without a hiccup and was as accurate or more so than the CCI MiniMags I normally shoot. This ammo come sealed in a can and coated with an oily film that is messy but which I'm sure helps with long term storage. I dump the rounds out on a paper towel and roll them around on it before loading to remove the majority of the coating.
