Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

I use PPU brass in all my milsurp rifles. It’s excellent brass and last many reloadings. I enjoy reloading almost as much as shooting.

PPU 7.5 swiss brass

By Albert D. on Nov 14, 2022
Brass is excellent. Case necks vary only .0003 to 0005 in thickness and I checked many cases. Primer pocket depth is.1295 to .1310 as good as it gets some 30-06 PPU brass would be nice to get. Good stuff

PPU 7.5MMx55 Swiss Brass

By Stephen E. on Sep 08, 2022
Good brass, hard to get. I shoot Cast Bullet Benchrest matches so this lasts many loadings. I've ordered 200 total, in two orders, so I could weight sort a group of 120 match cases. Yesterday i got -1" groups at 100 yd and 2" groups at 200 yd from a Swiss K-31. Never expected that from a straight as-issued antique military rifle.

Graf has been quick and reliable with my orders.

PPU Swiss Brass

By David C. on Jul 28, 2022
Great brass for the money, have had no problems using it. And, it's available. And, by the way, don't believe that crap about substituting .284 Win brass necked up, its thinner rims will give you miss-fires.

PPU 7.5x55 Swiss Brass

By James E. on Jul 21, 2022
Excellent brass, works well in several 1889s and 1911s.

Great brass

By Ryan J. on Jul 09, 2022
This is the best 7,5 Swiss brass available. It stands up to repeated firings and is dimensioned properly for the G11 and K31 series. Heavy case head and thick body walls as it should be (In GP-11, the case is an integral part of pressure control for the rifle)
I have heard it handles the abuse of the STG57 if you are lucky enough to own such a beast! You will want to size and chamfer the necks before loading. The primer pockets are tight, a light chamfer there will help seating also. Over 12 firings with a moderate 155 grain match load and not a failed case. I am neck sizing which helps case life. Folks at CMP matches hate to see me and my G-11 show up!

This brass is great. Uniform weight and the cases helped me build some very accurate loads for my K31.

What can I say? It's good brass. I put quite a few rounds through my K11 using it, and had no problems whatsoever.

Great Brass!

By James B. on Aug 02, 2020
500 cartridges loaded without any issues or problems. I love PPU components and have used them for some time now. Shooting surplus military rifles often this brand is amazing. Just need some 183 gr .311 bullets for my type 99 rifles! Great products at great prices!

Best value in this caliber

By Peter H. on Jun 22, 2020
First 7.5x55 brass purchase, but ppu brass has been my goto brass in 7.62x54r for years. The swiss brass looks just as good. I feel no need to buy more expensive brass. Ppu is fine for me.

Good brass for reloading.

By Chris W. on Mar 30, 2020
Whenever I have to buy ammo, I look for that caliber in the PPU box. Good ammo and good brass for reloading.

PPU 7.5x55 Brass

By Curtis W. on Aug 10, 2019
Being this is the only economical option for this cartridge the brass seems to be pretty good quality. Even when de-burring flash holes there didn't seem to be much of a burr. I did have to neck size them and trim them but that is expected. I would not hesitate to purchase them again. Thanks Graf's and Son's.

PPU 7.5 X 55 Swiss Brass

Excellent brass. Three reloadings so far and great performance. Minor problems noted in other reviews accurate but do not seem to impact use. Not Lapua brass at a "not" Lapua price.

PPU 7.5MMx55 Swiss Brass

By SPURR P. on Sep 05, 2018
The brass is very good, takes plenty of firing cycles provided the necks are annealed properly. Of course, that's true with all rifle brass. The reason I gave only four stars is because the primer pockets are too deep (.010+) and sharp at the mouth of the primer pocket. Almost like a military crimp and must be chamfered or swaged to avoid damaging the new primer. This is the first time I encountered these problems with PPU brass.

PPU 7.5x55 Swiss Brass

By Brian Y. on Sep 05, 2018
Excellent Brass. Works well in my K-31 Swiss. Make sure you tumble it before you size it. There is some grit left on the brass that will accumulate in your die and end up leaving score marks on your necks. Other than that it's fantastic.
