Product Information

Add to the quality of reloaded ammunition by using the M-1 Case Tumbler to clean and polish large quantities of cases quickly and efficiently. Coupled with Hornady® Tumbling Media, the cyclonic and vibratory action of the Tumbler cleans brass to a brilliant shine. Use the included sifter to separate the polished brass from the media. Running time varies based on the condition of the cases and degree of cleanliness desired. Holds up to (400) .38 Special cases, (180) 30-06 cases, or the equivalent of other like-sized cases.

 Hornady M-1 Brass Tumbler

I had been using a rotary tumbler, and was surprised by the amount of 40 S&W brass (300), and the short time required to clean it (45 min). As advertised, the cyclonic and vibratory action of the M-1 Tumbler cleans brass to a brilliant shine when used with my walnut cleaning media. It cleans much better than my old tumbler did cleaning 50 cases in three hours. The primer pockets are cleaned so well that it's hard to tell them from new unprimed brass. I'm one fully satisfied customer.

Quiet and efficient

I love this tumbler. It replaced a Frankford Arsenal unit that I've had for years. The FA tumbler is much louder and doesn't seem to mix and turn over the media as aggressively as this Hornady tumbler. So for the price, sound reduction, and a more efficient cleaning cycle, I'd say this tumbler is a no brainer!

I bought 2 of these and I have already processed thousands of rounds of brass from range pickup. They run nearly constantly, with no problem, and clean as good as the media you have in them. The Vibratory action is exactly right. One did come missing a mounting nut, but for a 10 cent nut, I am not going to gripe. You do have to assemble these, but it can be done in 2 minutes. Would buy again.
