LEE 450 BUSHMASTER 4-DIE SET

I used to buy mostly Redding dies because of the quality, but now they're three times the money as Lee.
The biggest thing I don't like about lee is the decapping pin. It's held in by a slide collet that slips sometimes and the pin itself is part of the rod. It makes the decapping assembly much cheaper to produce. I hate it. But i still buy them . The rest of the die set doesn't create any problems.
The carbide pistol die sets have the same cheap decapping assembly, but the sizing/decapping die itself is not hardened like the rifle dies are because the pistol dies use the carbide insert to size the shell. The pistol decapping/sizing dies can be drilled out and tapped to accept a good quality decapping assembly from a Redding or RCBS set of dies.
The Lee rifle decapping/sizing die, you're stuck with usong the cheap decapping pin/rod because you can't drill or tap it because the whole die is really hardened very good.
I love the taper crimp or factory crimp die that comes with a 4 die set of Lee dies. It really does make superior pistol and straight wall cartridges.

So far these dies have worked perfectly (as usual). I have come to rely on their factory crimp die. It has saved me on several recent calibers. Not only on the 450, but also on the 7.62x25 and the 30 Luger.
