For several years, that include African trips, I use this very high quality brass for my .375 Ackley loads. I use it because Norma brass is thinner than most other 375 cases. This adds several grains of capacity... useful in a .375. This brass allows xx grains of Reloader 17 behind a Hornady 300 grain DGS; this achieves 2850 fps in my rechambered Winchester M70 Super Express; while such load may cause unsafe pressures in your rifle, in my rifle it does not cause hard extraction or unduly flattened (CCI 250) primers. Dave Manson made the rechambering reamer. As a final note, I also stamped my barrel 375 WBY AI. When clearing customs in several African countries, the head-stamp on your ammo must match what is on your barrel. Further, this does accurately describe the chamber for the knowledgeable. Both factory .375 H&H and .375 Weatherby ammo will fire in this slightly larger chamber... handy, if you are forced to buy ammo in Limpopo.
