Replacing the Lehigh 07355115SP.
The performance of the bullets are identical, but you will see minor differences in the visual appearance of the projectile. These differences do not affect the performance of the projectile.
So what is Cold-forming? Cold-form is a high volume manufacturing process that produces parts using a series of progressive dies. In this process, a series of punches and dies are used to manipulate metal at room temperature. Simply put, the projectile blank will move through multiple stages where they are squeezed into forms under tremendous pressure and punched to achieve its finished shape.
Why didn't LeHigh cold-form the projectiles from the beginning? Engineering and Tooling Cost! Each projectile requires a significant investment in tooling and engineering, plus any modifications or changes to the projectile design may require a complete new set of tooling. So, when you see a LeHigh EXD/EXP projectile you can feel confident that the projectile is proven and will perform as designed.
This is not loaded ammunition.
