Hornaday XTP

This bullet is my 100% go to for EDC. Shoots 1.5" groups at 25 yards out of my Smith 66-8. They hold together for good penatration and about the only other bullet that will dig deeper are my 168 grain hardcast Elmer Keith type bear rounds.

Always a good choice, all the years of using Hornady they’ve never failed me. Reloaded XTPs for years and they perform great.

First of everything, the service from this organization has been awesome since day one. I’ve use this company for many years, and had nothing but excellence. As far as XTP bullets go, they are the most accurate I’ve shot out of any of my handguns I have use them to kill hogs Within 50 yards

This bullet is high quality and moderately priced, making it a great value. It has consistent weights, loads easily and functions flawlessly from both my pistols and lever action carbine. They make consistently accurate loads. The only bullet I use in .357 Magnum.

Loaded ammo is expensive and hard to find. Bought these to reload for a family member’s 357 magnum. They shoot well and don’t break the bank as compared to other fancier designs. Thanks Graf’s for fast shipping, they arrived before Christmas and in time for me to work up a load and have them ready as a present.
Excellent performance, value-priced

I used these bullets decades ago in .357 Magnum, with very good effect upon groundhogs. The currently-produced bullets are every bit as accurate as those from years ago, and the price point is outstanding for a premium bullet.

Excellent in both .38 and .357

I use published load data and titegroup powder to push these at 1000 fps for .38 +p loads and 1400 fps for .357 magnum. They are extremely consistent and accurate, and closely mimic the performance of factory SD loadings in both calibers. The price allows more practice without breaking the bank.
Very Accurate in GP 100

Although cheaper bullets can be had for target and plinking in 38 and 357 loads, I keep going back to the XTP bullets because of their accuracy in my GP 100. I use the 125 grain XTP for target, and also load the 140 and 158 grain bullets which are accurate as well and may some day be used for hunting.
Hornady XTP .357 125 Grain HP

This bullet works great in my Ruger SP101 in .357 magnum loads. The perfect bullet for this firearm. With heavier bullets, the SP101 will offer you a lot more recoil. I've had just as good luck with it in my Ruger GP100. Highly accurate in both firearms. If I could wish for anything other than this Hornady XTP in .357 magnum, it would be Hornady HAP bullets in
.357" diameter for revolvers.

Hornady has always meant quality and the XTP continues the tradition ... plus it's a great value to boot!
